«Castilla, lo castellano y los castellanos» is the historical essay by Miguel Delibes, published by Planeta in paperback (286 pages, in Spanish).
A personal anthology in which Miguel Delibes brings together texts on Castile and its people, between critical reflection and narrative. With humor and irony, he combines elegy for a human-scale past with criticism of a present dominated by the machine and statistics, leaving a glimmer of hope.
The book is number 53 in the Espejo de España collection and includes photographs by Alberto Viñals.
For those interested in the history of Castile, the Spanish essay and the work of Miguel Delibes.
