«Celebrem carnestoltes!» is the children's story by Carmina Del Rio Galve, published by Salvatella in paperback (24 pages, in Catalan).
The story follows a group of children who eagerly await Carnival: they prepare it at school and spend the festive day with their classmates. Written in verse and with two typefaces (cursive and capitals), the book uses the musicality of the text to support beginning readers.
It is number 11 in the collection 'Avui es un dia especial', with illustrations by Silvia Pla. First edition: January 2013.
For early readers starting to read in Catalan; the dual typeface and verse make learning more enjoyable.
