«Celtic Fairy Tales» is a collection of Celtic fairy tales by Neil Philip, illustrated by Isabelle Brent, published by Little, Brown in hardcover.
Twenty stories from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, the Isle of Man, Brittany and Galicia revive the Celtic oral tradition: characters such as Finn MacCool appear, along with motifs like ships crossing to America, goblins and pacts with the devil. Neil Philip's narration is complemented by Isabelle Brent's golden watercolors.
The original 1999 edition has 137 pages and text in English.
For young adult and adult readers interested in Celtic mythology and folklore, as well as for families looking for stories to read aloud.
