Ces grandes gueules qui nous gouvernent

Synopsis of Ces grandes gueules qui nous gouvernent

«Ces grandes gueules qui nous gouvernent» is the satirical comic by Mulatier, Ricord, Morchoisne and Rampal, published by J'ai lu BD (127 pages, in French).

It brings together caricatures and humorous drawings focused on French politics: distorted portraits, panels and wordplay turn figures of power into ridiculous characters. The satire relies on the artists' linework and the texts accompanying each page.

This is a paperback edition in the J'ai lu BD collection (no. 16); the work originally appeared in 1987.

Aimed at fans of caricature and political satire, with a special interest in the French tradition of press drawing.
