«Les trognons» is the satirical comic by Jean-Claude Morchoisne and Jacques Rampal, published by Editions n°1 in hardcover (66 pages, in French).
The book imagines the childhood of French public figures and depicts them as babies in diapers, with caricatured faces and mocking dialogues. On the cover, the little ones discuss their own name and wonder why they are called «great», in a satirical play between adulthood and childhood.
The work was originally published in 1990, in French, with the subtitle «Quand les Grands étaient petits...».
For fans of French political humor, caricature and press illustration.
