«Chapeuzinho Amarelo» is a children's story with text by Chico Buarque and illustrations by André Letria, published by Quasi Edições in Portuguese.
A girl who has never seen a wolf lives terrified of it; the more she thinks about this threat, the bigger it becomes in her imagination and the more it conditions her daily life. With poetic and playful language, Chico Buarque addresses childhood fear and overcoming it, in an edition illustrated by André Letria.
The edition, in Portuguese, was published in July 2007 and its cover bears the logo of the LER+ program.
A title suitable for early readers and for addressing the overcoming of fears in the classroom.
