«Charcos en el camino» is Alan Parker's children's book, published by SM in paperback (200 pages, in Spanish).
A group of young children grows up in a very big war. When the bombing destroys Paxton Street and leaves a huge crater in the road, Wib and his friends face evacuation: a journey out of London that frightens them as much as the war itself. The story follows their first steps into the unknown as the war changes their neighborhood.
Its original title is Puddles in the Lane; it belongs to the El Barco de Vapor collection, Red Series, from SM.
Aimed at readers aged 14 and up, with a child's view of war and evacuation.
Parker Alan Bridwell is an American former professional baseball pitcher. The Baltimore Orioles selected Bridwell in the ninth round of the 2010 MLB draft. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Orioles and the Los Angeles Angels.
