«Chicos y chicas» is the short story collection by Soledad Puértolas, published by Editorial Anagrama in paperback (224 pages, in Spanish).
The stories move between encounter and farewell: couples who separate, affections that reunite, envies, hopes and memories of youth. With a humorous tone, the author addresses maturity, estrangement from the everyday, bonds between mothers and daughters, and those private moments that mark characters of different ages.
