«El bandido doblemente armado» is the novel by Soledad Puértolas, published by Editorial Anagrama in hardcover (144 pages, in Spanish).
The narrator recalls his fascination with the Lennoxes, a rich, beautiful and extravagant family, and reconstructs in sequences the passage of each of its members through his life. The story combines homage with critical distance and turns the apprentice writer who narrates into the true protagonist facing the enigma of Terry Lennox.
It belongs to the Narrativas hispánicas collection, number 48. Work awarded the Premio Sésamo in 1979.
