«Chimerica: West End Edition» is the play by Lucy Kirkwood, published by Nick Hern Books in paperback (96 pages, in English).
A young American photojournalist captures an anonymous man facing the tanks in Tiananmen Square in 1989. Years later, in New York, a cryptic message drives him to find out what became of him. The play interweaves that search with the relations between China and the United States and the shift in the global balance of power.

For readers of contemporary theatre and political drama, with an interest in Chinese history and international relations.
