«Em dic… Cleòpatra» is a children's biography written by Carmen Gil and Teresa Herrero, published by Parramón in hardcover (64 pages, in Catalan).
Cleopatra, the last queen of ancient Egypt, takes the floor to tell her life in the first person: how she came to the throne at eighteen and how she fought tirelessly for her country. She rejects the image of a disloyal and manipulative woman spread by her detractors and offers her own version of history.
Part of the «Em dic…» collection («Me llamo» series), of informative biographies of great figures. The collection won the Premi Crítica Serra d'Or Juvenil de Coneixements 2005.
Recommended for young readers from 9 years old who want to discover history through biographies of famous figures.
