«Com Aguarelas» is Günter Grass's watercolor collection, published by Editorial Notícias in hardcover (210 pages, in Portuguese).
After the black and white of drawing and engraving, Günter Grass began painting watercolors in a Danish forest in 1995. The selection includes trees, mushrooms, fish, everyday objects and still lifes, some with verses or story openings inscribed on the damp background. The preface explains his transition to color and the influence between writing and painting.
Work originally published as «Mit Wasserfarben: Aquarelle» in 2001; the Portuguese edition is from 2002.
