«Contes à l'envers» is a collection of children's stories by Philippe Dumas and Boris Moissard, published by Maximax (L'école des loisirs) in paperback.
Stories that parody the classics of Perrault and Grimm with a contemporary setting: a female president faces a cleverer Snow White, and a descendant of Little Red Riding Hood locks her grandmother in the wolf's cage. Includes the unpublished tale «Le pommier de Pomanchou», added by the authors to celebrate the work's thirtieth anniversary.
Written in French, the book was originally published in 1977; this edition dates from 2009.
Suitable for a children's and young adult audience wanting to discover humorous versions of classic tales.
