«Cornèlius i el rebost d'impossibles» is the children's novel by Carles Sala i Vila, published by La Galera in paperback (176 pages, in Catalan).
In Tort, a village without straight lines, the arrival of Cornèlius and another stranger attracts Mar and her blind grandfather, who knows how to see the essential. Together they open a «rebost d'impossibles», where neighbors exchange feelings: they leave what they have too much of and receive what they need. Harmony is broken when some do not accept the initiative.
Grumets collection, volume 208, with illustrations by Javier Andrada. Winner of the Premi Josep M. Folch i Torres 2009. Recommended for ages 10-12.
For young readers who enjoy fantastic stories about emotions, community and coexistence.
