«Corrida de muerte et autres nouvelles du Prix Hemingway 2007» is the short story anthology by Robert Bérard and other authors, published in paperback.
It collects eleven stories around the bullfighting world, signed by authors who are fans or not. With irony and passion, the collection addresses the figure of the aficionado, the love relationship understood as a faena, and also the wound and death; the new winner, somber, takes place in a republican village occupied by Francoist soldiers.
Collective work winner of the Hemingway Prize 2007, in French, with 183 pages; published by Au Diable Vauvert on April 24, 2008.
For readers of French short fiction and those curious about bullfighting as a literary theme.
Pierre Bordage was a French science fiction author. He won the Cosmos 2000 prize in 1996 for his novel La Citadelle Hyponéros.
