«Cuando sale la luna» is the children's picture book by Antonio Ventura and Elena Odriozola, published by Thule in hardcover (28 pages, in Spanish).
A child sleeps while, at nightfall, the toys come out of their box and do what they do best: play. But since everyone else is asleep, they must learn to be quiet and behave. The story sets up a game of observation with the illustrations, and only on the last page is it revealed who is telling the story.
It belongs to the Trampantojo collection from Thule Ediciones, which first published it on October 5, 2006.
Recommended for child readers ages 3 to 5 and for sharing aloud.
