«Cuentos de los 90» is the short-story collection by Luis Magrinyà published by Caballo de Troya in paperback (704 pages, in Spanish).
Stories centered on characters raised under a restrictive education and a predictable life plan, whose expectations end up cracking. Luis Magrinyà narrates them with a complex, sharp and malicious syntax that turns inner life into narrative material.
A collection uniting Luis Magrinyà's first two story books, Los aéreos and Belinda y el monstruo, published by Debate in 1993 and 1995, and includes four unpublished pieces.
For readers seeking contemporary Spanish fiction with attention to inner life.
