«Cuentos Desde El Reino Peligroso» is the collection of fantasy tales and poems by J. R. R. Tolkien, published by Círculo de Lectores in hardcover.
The volume brings together for the first time in a single book four short novels —Farmer Giles of Ham, Leaf by Niggle, Smith of Wootton Major and Roverandom— and the poetry collection The Adventures of Tom Bombadil. Dragons, sand sorcerers, sea monsters, hobbits, knights and dwarves populate these stories from Tolkien's fantasy universe.
Spanish-language edition from 2009, 352 pages, with illustrations by Alan Lee. Includes an introduction by Tom Shippey and the essay 'On Fairy-stories'.
For admirers of Tolkien and Middle-earth who want to explore the author's lesser-known stories.
John Ronald Reuel Tolkien was an English writer and academic philologist. He was the author of the high fantasy works The Hobbit (1937) and The Lord of the Rings (1954–1955).
