«Cuentos en verso para niños perversos» is Roald Dahl's collection of verse tales, published by Santillana in paperback (in Spanish).
Roald Dahl rewrites six classic tales in verse with his black humor: Cinderella, Snow White, Jack and the Beanstalk, Goldilocks, Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Little Pigs. The stories twist with irony and surprises, and include Quentin Blake's illustrations.
The original work «Revolting Rhymes» was published in 1982; the Spanish edition dates from 2013.
Suitable for children who already grasp the double meaning of the verses and for poetry reading in the classroom.
Roald Dahl was a British author of popular children's literature and short stories, a poet, screenwriter and a wartime fighter ace. His books have sold more than 300 million copies worldwide. He has been called "one of the greatest storytellers for children of the 20th century".
