Cuerda de presos es una novela del autor español Tomás Salvador, publicada en 1985. La historia sigue a dos guardias civiles que deben escoltar a un peligroso criminal, Juan Díaz de Argandoña, a través de un viaje de once días por la geografía española. La novela explora la convivencia forzada y la soledad de los personajes en un entorno rural y montañoso. Ganadora del premio "Ciudad de Barcelona" en 1954 y del Nacional de Literatura "Miguel de Cervantes" en 1955, esta obra ha sido adaptada al cine y es considerada un clásico de la literatura española contemporánea.
