«De dode hoek» is the suspense novel by Thomas Kanger, published by The House of Books in paperback (302 pages, in Dutch).
Annika Lilja and her partner Jamal Al-Sharif are murdered in a forest near Västerås. As Al-Sharif is of Palestinian origin, the police consider a political or terrorist motive. Elina Wiik has only one clue: blurry legs recorded by one of the victims. That clue leads her to uncover uncomfortable secrets behind Sweden's peaceful facade.
Third installment in the Elina Wiik series (The House of Crime, 3); the Swedish original is titled Den döda vinkeln.
For fans of Scandinavian crime fiction and police thrillers with a female inspector protagonist.
