«De museummoorden» is the suspense novel by Veronique Roy, published by Uitgeverij Rainbow bv in paperback (304 pages, in Dutch).
At the Natural History Museum in Paris, the discovery of a meteorite predating the solar system reignites the debate between evolutionism and creationism. When the piece disappears and a murder rocks the institution, an atheist paleontologist, an astrophysicist sent by the Vatican, and a museum curator investigate the connection between the two events.
The work was originally published in French as «Muséum» (2006) and this Dutch edition is translated by Saskia Taggenbrock.
A suitable read for those seeking thrillers with a scientific and mysterious backdrop.
