Immerse yourself in the fascinating story of Princess Selma in 'On behalf of the dead princess', a moving novel by Kenizé Mourad. In this 35th anniversary commemorative edition, the author transports us to the court of the last sultan of the Ottoman Empire in 1918, where young Selma witnesses the collapse of her world. Condemned to exile, the Sultan's family moves to Lebanon, marking the beginning of a journey full of challenges and discoveries. Through India and Paris, Selma will seek love, facing losses and challenges that will mark her forever. Kenizé Mourad, Selma's daughter, masterfully recounts the story of her mother, a story of courage, love and survival in a constantly changing world.
