«Delators: La justicia de Franco» is a historical essay by Enric Canals, published by L'Esfera dels Llibres in hardcover (324 pages, in Catalan).
The author reconstructs Francoist repression in Barcelona in 1939 from denunciations and testimonies that underpinned thousands of military judicial proceedings. With full names, he presents informers, the informed-on, the accused and witnesses, and shows how the promotion of denunciation served to instil fear and divide society.
2007 edition in the Punt de Mira collection, with a prologue by Gabriel Cardona, index and bibliographic references.
A history work aimed at readers interested in the Spanish Civil War and Francoist repression in Catalonia.
