«Der kleine Eisbär und der Angsthase» is the children's picture book by Hans de Beer, published by Findling-Buchverl. in hardcover (25 pages, in German).
The little polar bear Lars finds the hare Lena trapped in a hole in the snow and frees her. The two become friends and, between games and races, Lars discovers that Lena is very timid, although she too will find the moment to show her courage.
The book was published in 2004 and belongs to the series of stories about the polar bear Lars.
Recommended from 3 years; its short text and watercolor illustrations make it attractive for early readers.
