«Destino Cataluña» is the anthology of stories from Súmate's first 2018 Literary Contest, published by Editorial Octaedro in paperback.
The work brings together the stories from the first 2018 Literary Contest, with voices that arrived in Catalonia from different parts of Spain. They address emigration, uprootedness, family memory and the sense of belonging: from arriving by train or the first jobs to memories of grandparents, in a plural look at present-day Catalonia.
First edition published in 2019 in the Horizontes collection, with 192 pages in Spanish. Includes a prologue by Pere Baltà i Llopart and a note from the editor.
For readers interested in present-day Catalonia and in literature of migration and memory.
