Diário Inventado de Um Menino Já Crescido

Synopsis of Diário Inventado de Um Menino Já Crescido

«Diário Inventado de Um Menino Já Crescido» is a children's book by José Fanha, published by Edições Gailivro in paperback (64 pages, in Portuguese).

As we grow up, we forget extraordinary events and unrepeatable moments; diaries serve to keep that memory. José Fanha summons the child he once was and asks him to write what he still remembers: classmates, grandmother, father, and the contradictions of growing up. Thus a notebook is born, halfway between memory and invention.

Fourth edition, with illustrations by João Fanha. Recommended for the 5th year of schooling as autonomous reading.

Part of Portugal's National Reading Plan, designed for children who already read independently.
