«Die vergessliche kleine Hexe» is a children's book by Margret Rettich, published by Gondrom Verlag GmbH in hardcover (32 pages, in German).
A forgetful little witch can't remember the spell to fly on a broomstick and always has to go on foot. To learn it, she ends up at the humans' school. Large print and words replaced by pictures make reading easier, with small math operations integrated into the story.
Published in 2005, this Gondrom edition is a Lesebilderbuch: an illustrated book for learning to read, with large print and some key words replaced by images.
Recommended for children aged 5 and up, both for reading with the family and for first independent readers.
German author and illustrator (1926-2013)
