«Disección de una tormenta» is a novel by Menchu Gutiérrez, published by Ediciones Siruela in paperback (114 pages, in Spanish).
In an institution beside a frozen lake, the director listens to the dreams and obsessions of the inmates and imposes unexpected treatments. Music, reading and the symbolic analysis of life make up daily life; hair becomes a chronicle of time. The guests await the storm, a final onslaught that always seems about to arrive.
Originally published in 2005, it belongs to the Libros del Tiempo collection from Ediciones Siruela (No. 199).
For readers of literature and fiction who appreciate enigmatic atmospheres and stories with symbolic weight.
