La tabla de las mareas

Synopsis of La tabla de las mareas

«La tabla de las mareas» is the novel by Menchu Gutiérrez, published in 1998 by Siruela in hardcover (96 pages, in Spanish).

A man and a woman at different ages of their body and consciousness see their days divided like tides between the white church and the black church. In the black church, desire is incited through the senses in an erotic liturgy that leads to knowledge without return; the prose, of lyrical realism, rescues images and sensations from memory.

Part of the Libros del Tiempo collection by Siruela, number 102.
