«Durruti en la Revolución Española» is Abel Paz's biography of the anarchist Buenaventura Durruti, in paperback (840 pages, in Spanish).
Biography of Buenaventura Durruti (León, 1896-Madrid, 1936), a central figure of Spanish anarchism and revolutionary syndicalism. The book reviews his militancy in organizations such as Los Solidarios, his participation in the Civil War and his death in the defense of Madrid, without mythifying the character or subjecting him to official history.
The work was first published in France in the 1970s; this Spanish edition corresponds to La Esfera de los Libros (2007) and the Historia del Siglo XX collection.
For readers interested in the social and political history of Spain, anarchism and biographies of the Civil War.
