El año que vimos nevar es una colección de seis relatos protagonizados por Martín Mostaza, un personaje que refleja la vida de Fermín Solís. Desde la perspectiva de un treintañero, Solís nos invita a mirar atrás con complicidad, amabilidad y nostalgia, aunque a veces con un toque amargo. Los relatos evocan momentos como la Vuelta Ciclista a España, profesores de dudosa capacidad, la magia de la primera bicicleta, juegos en la calle, abuelas entrañables, hogueras, Bruce Lee, la primera nevada, la cría de gusanos de seda, matones de escuela, cumpleaños, el enamoramiento de la profesora en prácticas y sesiones dobles de cine dominical. Estos momentos componen un fresco costumbrista rico y evocador, presentado por Fermín Solís, ganador del premio Josep Toutain al autor revelación en el Salón Internacional del Cómic de Barcelona en 2004.
