«El buen amigo del cielo» is the illustrated album by Fernando Krahn, published by EDICIONES SM in hardcover (30 pages, in Spanish).
An angel emissary from heaven knows the language of animals and shows them the best places to nest. When he meets a hungry vagabond, he decides to help him: he prepares a meal and both, disguised as clowns, arrive at a circus where the vagabond finds his opportunity. An album with humor that shows the value of helping others.
It belongs to the «Álbumes ilustrados» collection and was awarded the International Illustration Prize of the SM Foundation in 2001.
Recommended for children aged 7 to 9, with simple reading and abundant illustrations.
