«El club de los estrellados» is the contemporary fiction novel by Joaquín Berges, published by Tusquets Editores in paperback (280 pages, in Spanish).
Francho, a solitary postman, has breakfast and lunch with Hortensia at his best friend's café and on weekends joins his friend's astronomy club. Everyone is unaware of his secret: dressing in women's lingerie. After a night in the cells, he discovers things about himself, while his divorced friend tries to win over Hortensia.
«El club de los estrellados» was published in 2009 as number 693 of Tusquets' Andanzas collection.
Adult reading, due to its treatment of fetishism, within a line of comedy and literary fiction with misfit characters.
