El crimen del Padre Amaro es una novela del escritor portugués Eça de Queirós, publicada en 1875. La historia sigue a Amaro Vieira, un joven sacerdote que es trasladado a una parroquia en Leiria, donde se ve envuelto en un ambiente de libertinaje y conoce a Amélia, una joven que causa su perdición. La novela generó controversia en su época por su crítica al clero y la sociedad provinciana. Es considerada una de las obras más importantes de la literatura portuguesa del siglo XIX.
