«El genial oncle Anastasi» is the children's adventure novel by Miquel Pujadó, published by Barcanova in paperback (176 pages, in Catalan).
Gerard is delighted that his uncle Anastasi, a peculiar inventor, is temporarily living in his house: with him, a canary can grow to look like an eagle or a dinosaur can escape from a dream. His parents and the neighbor Sistachs, who hates children, don't see it that way. After several innocent catastrophes, the uncle leaves for the Nordic countries and returns with an unexpected surprise.
Published in February 2010 in the Sopa de Llibres collection (green series), with illustrations by Núria Feijoó.
Aimed at children and young readers; the recommended reading age is 9 to 12 years.
