«Quinito, un nou curs» is the children's novel by Joaquim Haro, published by BARCANOVA in paperback (256 pages, in Catalan).
Quinito leaves his village school to start a new term in the city. There everything feels strange to him: the school, the classmates, the teachers and the customs. During his first week he misses his old school, his friends and his teacher, although every afternoon, on returning from the village, he can meet up again with the usual games and familiar landscapes.
Illustrated by Miquel Rabert, published in 2012 in the Sopa de Llibres collection, green series.
Recommended for children's and young adult readers aged 10 and up.
