«El hermano de Juan Sucio» is a children's book by Marta Mata, illustrated by Fina Rifà, published by La Galera in paperback (24 pages, in Spanish).
A fairy sends Juan to the garden with his brother because he is so dirty, but Juan has no brother and no animal wants to take on that role; only one accepts. The story plays with that confusion to talk about habits and the possibility of change, with an ending that invites readers to wonder whether Juan will remain the dirty one or end up being the tidy one.
It is number 42 in the La Sirena collection, published by La Galera, and corresponds to the 1992 edition.
Aimed at early readers aged 6 and up, with a short story about family and imagination.
