In *Asterix and Son*, a baby is left on Asterix's doorstep, leading Asterix and Obelix to take care of him. Meanwhile, the treacherous Brutus is plotting something against Caesar, and the Prefect of Gaul, Crismus Cactus, disguises himself as a nanny. Why do the Romans want the baby? Asterix must find out. Even if the Gaul's hut burns down before the truth comes to light! All ends well with Caesar promising to rebuild it and give a grand banquet aboard Cleopatra's galley!
