«El huevo de Barba Azul» is Margaret Atwood's short story collection, published by Alcor in paperback (253 pages, in Spanish).
The stories blend humor and warmth with a disquieting look at modern life: childhood memories, aging parents and everyday cruelty between men and women. There are summers on remote lakes, winters of political activism and unexpected loves, alongside hidden spaces and feelings the characters keep to themselves.
Translation by Eduardo G. Murillo of the English original Bluebeard's Egg. This Spanish edition appeared in 1990 in Alcor's Narrativa collection.
