El juego de las pasiones es una novela del autor italiano Alberto Bevilacqua, publicada en 1990 por Grijalbo. La historia narra la peculiar relación amorosa entre un delincuente veneciano, Marco Donati, y una actriz llamada Regina. Marco, inmerso en los círculos mafiosos de Venecia, decide cambiar su vida y recuperar la imagen de hombre respetable ante su familia. Regina, con su hermosa voz, juega un papel fundamental en esta transformación, interpretando el papel de su esposa ideal. La trama también involucra al jefe de policía de Ferrara, Antonio Aquerique, quien busca hacer pagar a Marco por su pasado.

Alberto Bevilacqua was an Italian writer and filmmaker. Leonardo Sciascia, an Italian writer and politician, who read Bevilacqua's first collection of stories, The Dust on the Grass (1955), was impressed and published it. Mario Colombi Guidotti, responsible for the literary supplement of the Journal of Parma, began to publish his stories in the early 1950s.
