«El juego de pensar» is the young adult novel by Tobies Grimaltos Mascarós and Soledad Carreño Albín (Algar Editorial, paperback, 200 pages, in Spanish).
Marta is a teenager who asks herself questions about who she is, how things are, and what it means to be free. Her father, a philosophy professor, accompanies her in nightly conversations that become increasingly stimulating. Together they explore great questions of thought, and Marta learns that philosophizing is necessary and also a fun game.
Published in 2000, it is the third title in the Algar Joven collection. Translated from Catalan by Soledad Carreño Albín.
Recommended for readers aged 14 and up, especially for those beginning to take an interest in the big questions of philosophy.
