«El meu aniversari» is the children's story by Mª Rosa Aragó and Pilar Ramos, published by Parramón in hardcover (32 pages, in Catalan).
The protagonist, Max, turns one year older and receives an astronaut suit as a gift; he celebrates with his parents and friends. The story shows that, beyond the party and gifts, what matters about a birthday is growing up, learning something new every day, and knowing how to take care of oneself to avoid risks.
It belongs to the First Readings series. The book was published in March 2003. Recommended reading age: from 4 years.
Intended for parents and educators who want to introduce children to reading in Catalan from early childhood.
