«El nacimiento de Jesús» is the children's book by Virginie Aladjidi and Caroline Pellissier, published by Edelvives in hardcover (14 pages, in Spanish).
Adapts the biblical story of the birth of Jesus for early readers based on the texts of Luke and Matthew: the journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem, the birth in a manger, and the arrival of shepherds and wise men to worship the child. Vanessa Hié's illustrations recreate the night scene with the star, the animals, and the Holy Family.
Belongs to the Pequeña Estrella collection. It is a Spanish translation of a French original published by Nathan in 2004; first edition on July 14, 2006.
Aimed at children aged 5 to 6, it serves to introduce the youngest to Bible stories for the first time.
