«El nombre del viento» is the fantasy novel by Patrick Rothfuss, published by Plaza & Janés in paperback (880 pages, in Spanish).
In a remote inn, a man named Kvothe, already a legend, sits down to tell the truth about his life for the first time. His story begins in childhood, when he traveled with a troupe of itinerant performers, continues through his years of survival as a petty thief in the streets of a great city, and reaches his admission to a university where he hopes to find answers about the world and about himself.
It is the first volume of the saga Crónica del asesino de reyes, also known as The Kingkiller Chronicle, and includes the Spanish translation by Gemma Rovira Ortega.
Recommended for fantasy readers seeking a long, detailed narrative, with a charismatic protagonist and a story-within-a-story structure.
Escritor estadounidense de fantasía, conocido por la trilogía Crónica del Asesino de Reyes, una de las sagas más esperadas de la fantasía contemporánea.
