«El peix Irisat» is the illustrated children's story by Marcus Pfister, published by Beascoa in hardcover (32 pages, in Catalan).
At the bottom of the sea, the Rainbow Fish is the most beautiful animal in the ocean because of its shiny scales, but it is also the loneliest: the other fish do not want to play with it. The story shows how sharing its beauty and valuing friendship allows it to regain happiness, with colorful illustrations and simple text for early readers.
Original title: «Der Regenbogenfisch». The Rainbow Fish series, published since 1992, has been translated into more than 60 languages; this Catalan edition appeared in 2005.
Story recommended for early readers from age 4, useful for working on friendship and the value of sharing at home or in the classroom.
Marcus Pfister is a Swiss author and illustrator of children's picture books.
