«El pelo de Van't Hoff» is the novel by Unai Elorriaga, published by Punto de Lectura in paperback (272 pages, in Spanish).
The novel starts from a playful question: how many games can be invented with a ball. Matías Malanda sees things differently; in that gaze appear truths that others do not find, also lies, and above all an invitation to think about life and what can happen.
The work was originally published in 2003 as «Van't Hoffen ilea» and received the Igartza Saria award.
A proposal for readers of contemporary fiction with a taste for reflective stories, dry humor and the absurd as a narrative engine.
