«El pèndol» is a collection of short stories by Anna Gas Serra, published by Proa in hardcover (160 pages, in Catalan).
Anna Gas's stories take place in a disturbing world where reality crosses with its distortions: someone exchanges one cage for another, a teenager undergoes a rite of passage, a girl waits in a line torn between solitude and company, and two doctors play with their passions. A visual and visionary spectacle.
Winner of the Premi Mercè Rodoreda de contes i narracions 2020 and number 741 of the A Tot Vent collection by Proa.
Reading for fans of contemporary fiction and short stories with unsettling atmospheres.
