«El poltre» is the illustrated children's book by Ute Haderlein, published by Susaeta in hardcover (12 pages, in Catalan).
The protagonist is a foal resting on straw in a stable; around it appear other animals (cats, a guinea pig, a bird, a rabbit and a dog) presented as its friends. Bob Bampton's realistic illustrations and Ute Haderlein's Catalan text bring the world of the farm closer to early readers.
Part of the «¿Coneixes els meus amics?» collection. It is a laminated, die-cut board book with flaps and tabs; Catalan edition published on March 18, 2011. Recommended reading age: from 3 years.
Recommended for children from 3 years and for families who want to encourage reading in Catalan.
