«Katemetxoa» is the children's book by Ute Haderlein, with illustrations by Bob Bampton, published by Susaeta in paperback (12 pages, in Basque).
The book invites the youngest to meet the friends of the protagonist, a white-and-brown kitten lying on a checked blanket next to a red ball of yarn. At the top, five animals are shown: a dog, a mouse, a butterfly, a hedgehog and a cat.
The Basque edition was published on March 18, 2011.
Aimed at early readers in Basque, with a simple story about animals that invites naming and recognizing each one.
